Trawlers Game Recap!

Yamba Trawlers Basketball

The Yamba Trawlers Faced the Lismore Storm on Saturday night were it was going to be a big test for the trawlers side as they were not only going up against Lismore storm they were going up against last year’s Sunshine conference Basketball league Champions.

It also didn’t help the Trawlers side that they were not strength in numbers as most of their squad was unable to play in this match up,

Despite the lack of numbers Trawlers were hungry in order to get this win being a great performance from the side ending up being 73-66.

It doesn’t stop for the Trawlers as they will hit the road for their next game which is in Ballina this Saturday 6th October.

Were it was Yamba wining in their first match up and they hope to remain 2/2 in this two game series.

This weekend’s information

Trawlers Game this Saturday night!

Hi all
Its back on again this weekend at the RLSC and the Yamba Basketball Association invite you to the Open mens Trawlers 4th home game. The concept is to play local teams in the Sunshine Conference and see how we perform and whether we are good enough to play in a higher representative league next year. Hopefully we perform well and can establish a senior representative program long into the future. Out of this we would like to generate interest in eventually creating our ladies opens representative team as well. This will create a pathway for both our boys and girls to play Juniors and then into our senior program and hopefully beyond. Please come and support us this Saturday night v Lismore!!
